Sparkill, N.Y. - Fresh off capturing their second straight East Coast Conference Regular Season and Tournament titles back in April, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Volleyball team has been ranked in both the Off the Block Division II and NCAA RPI National Polls.
The Spartans wrapped up their 2025 campaign with a 16-9 overall record and a perfect 6-0 mark in ECC play, landing them at No. 8 in the Off the Block poll and No. 34 in the NCAA rankings.
STAC's storied season highlights included:
- First season with an overall winning record (16-9).
- First victory over a D1 opponent (Three overall: LIU (3-2), NJIT (3-2) and FDU (3-0)).
- Going 8-0 against conference opponents in regular season and postseason play without dropping a single set.
- The team's first-ever trip to Utah for a pair of matches with top-10 ranked Brigham Young University.
- David Weiss led the ECC and the nation in Blocks per set (1.289).
- Ivaylo Todorov led the ECC in digs per set (2.57), which was also fifth in the nation.
- Gabriel Vieira lead the ECC in kills per set (4.40), which was also third in the nation. Vieira was also fifth in the country in attacks per set (9.26).
