The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis team punched their ticket to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Tournament by virtue of their 4-0 shutout victory over Adelphi University on Tuesday in the East Regional. STAC heads to the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona as the #15 seed and will take on #2 seed University of West Florida.

STAC finished the 2025-2026 regular season with a 19-5 overall record and a 5-1 ECC mark. The maroon and gold won a share of the East Coast Conference Regular Season title and appeared in the conference championship match for the sixth straight season.

The Spartans (19-5) and Argonauts (26-1) will face off against one another for the first time in the history of both programs on Wednesday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m.

First Round matches get underway on Wednesday, May 20 with teams playing at 11 a.m and 3 p.m. in The Grand Canyon State. Winners advance to quarterfinal action the very next day (Thursday, May 21) with matches at 11 a.m. After a day off, Semifinal rounds commence on Saturday, May 23 (11 a.m.), and the tournament concludes with the crowning of a National Champion on Sunday, May 24 (11 a.m.).

The 2026 NCAA Men's Tennis Championship Finals are hosted by the Pacific West Conference and the City of Surprise.
