St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis athlete Nagamitsu Kuroda has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday, following the Spartans 7-0 shutout victory over the University of the District of Columbia. Nagamitsu shares this week's honor with Queens College's Lucas Foix Sotos.

Kuroda picked up wins in both his doubles and singles matches, as the Spartans beat the Firebirds on the road, 7-0. The Tokyo, Japan native took a 6-2 decision at No. 1 doubles with partner Don Vinz Lominoque, before beating his opponent at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0.
