Erik Victor Tauson has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for a second straight week (third time this season) on Tuesday, following the Spartans 2-0 week with wins against Adelphi University and the University of the District of Columbia.

Tauson (Malmo, Sweden) went 4-0 with an undefeated week at No. 3 doubles and No. 3 singles in a 2-0 week for the Spartans. In the 5-2 win over regionally-ranked Adelphi, Tauson teamed up with Ondrej Sramek to defeat their opponents, 6-1, before going on to defeat Hugo Munoz Reinoso 6-1, 6-4. In the 5-2 win over conference-foe UDC, the STAC freshman and Sramek downed their opponents, 6-1, before going on to defeat Elouan Queguiner, 6-4, 6-4.
