Ondrej Sramek has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week, for the eighth time this season on Monday, following the Spartans 3-0 week on the court with victories over Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University and the University of the District of Columbia.
Sramek (Trebechovice pod Orebem, Czech Republic) went 4-2 last week for the Spartans (2-1 Singles & 2-1 Doubles), as the maroon and gold wrapped up regular season play with three straight victories to earn a share of the 2023 ECC Regular Season title.
St. Thomas Aquinas (17-1, 5-1 ECC) begins its preparations for the East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Tournament, which takes place April 21 and 22 at the Queens College Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
