Ondrej Sramek has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week, for the seventh time this season on Monday, following the Spartans lone match of last week against Queens College.
Despite STAC's 4-3 loss to the Knights, Sramek (Trebechovice pod Orebem, Czech Republic) helped the Spartans rally back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the score at 2-2 with his singles victory over Queens College's Lucas Demuth (7-5, 6-3).
St. Thomas Aquinas (14-1, 4-1 ECC) continues its homestand, facing Chestnut Hill College on Wednesday, April 12 (2:00 p.m.) at the Riley Family Tennis Courts.
