Odysseas Papaioannou has been named the ECC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, while Ondrej Sramek scores Rookie of the Week honors on Monday, following the Spartans perfect 4-0 Florida Spring Break road trip.
Papaioannou (Thessaloniki, Greece) went 6-1 last week, winning all three of his singles matches and going 3-1 in doubles play to help the Spartans remain perfect on the season.
Meanwhile, Sramek (Trebechovice pod Orebem, Czech Republic) went 6-2 last week, winning all four of his singles matches and going 2-2 in doubles play to help the Spartans go unbeaten on the team's Sunshine State trip.
STAC (9-0) takes on on Yeshiva University on Thursday, March 23 (3:00 p.m.) at the Riley Family Tennis Courts in Sparkill.
