Four Spartans Take Home ECC Men's Soccer All-Conference Honors

St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer players Mika Leue, Joaquim Cardoso, Kevon Evans and Dante Muntane were each selected for All-Conference honors on Wednesday, as the East Coast Conference revealed its annual awards, voted on by the conference's coaches.

Leue and Cardoso earned first team honors, with Kevon Evans taking home second team accolades and Muntane receiving third team kudos.

Leue (Jr.|M|Osnabrueck, Germany), the versatile midfielder, posted two goals and five assists in 14 games for the maroon and gold, and was a mainstay on both ends of the field for the Spartans, taking crucial corner kicks and assisting with keeping opposing teams from marching down the field for scoring opportunities.

Cardoso (Fr.|B|Sao Paulo, Brazil), one of the leaders of the Spartans defense corps, registered three goals and an assist during the 2025 season, but his steady presence on the backline kept opposing teams to just 24 total goals on the year.

Evans (Sr.|F|Ossining, N.Y.) recorded a team-leading eight goals and six assists for 22 points, while playing in 13 contests for STAC. His 49 total shots (24 on goal) and one game-winning goal were ranked second for the Spartans.

Muntane (Fr.|GK|Rosario Argentina), the Spartans starting netminder, posted a 5-5-2 record with a 1.77 goals against average and an .744 save percentage in 13 regular season contests. He has also recorded three solo clean sheets and a shared shutout with teammate Ryan-Robert Ndje on the year, and was named both the ECC Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week on October 20.

St. Thomas Aquinas posted a regular season record of 6-7-2 (5-3-0 ECC) during the 2025 season, and have earned a berth in the upcoming East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Tournament which begins on November 5.
