St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer athlete Roman Capucha has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans back-to-back road draws at Chestnut Hill (3-3) and Roberts Wesleyan (5-5) last week.
Capucha (Fr./Bratislava, Slovakia) scored the first two goals of his collegiate career in the match against the Griffins, to help lead STAC back from a 3-0 deficit in the match.
St. Thomas Aquinas (2-1-2 overall, 0-0-1 ECC) next hosts East Stroudsburg University at Spartan Field on Tuesday, September 13. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m in Sparkill, N.Y.
