St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Tabor McDaniels has been named the ECC Rookie of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans contests against Bloomsburg University and the University of the District of Columbia last week.
McDaniels went 1-0 on the week, giving up only two goals on 15 shots faced in 135 minutes of action. McDaniels came on in relief against the Huskies and stopped 1-of-2 shots, then started against the Firebirds and made 12 saves in a 3-1 victory.
STAC returns to Spartan Field for its final two regular season games of the season. Coming first will be another ECC tilt, this time with Queens College, on Saturday, October 22. Kick-off scheduled for 12:00 p.m in Sparkill.
