St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer athlete Kevon Evans has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, following the Spartans 1-1 week on the pitch. The Spartans fell to East Region power Franklin Pierce 4-1, before defeating Alliance University (formerly Nyack College) 3-2.
Evans (So./Ossining, N.Y.) tallied three goals last week, including a two-goal performance against Alliance University in STAC's home opener at Spartan Field on Saturday.
STAC (2-1-0) returns to action on Wednesday, September 7, in a non-conference road matchup with Chestnut Hill College. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Lafayette Hill, Pa.
