St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer athlete Jorge Umana has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, following the Spartans 7-0 season opening victory at Saint Michael's College last week.
Umana (Sr./Orangeburg, N.Y.) tallied four goals in the match versus the Purple Knights in Colchester, Vt. He was also able to boot six shots in the contest, with five going on goal.
STAC (1-0-0) returns to action on Tuesday, August 30, in a non-conference road matchup with Franklin Pierce University. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. in Rindge, N.H.
