Ryan Christensen of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse team was named the ECC Rookie of the Week, for the third straight week on Monday, following the Spartans thrilling 10-9 overtime victory against Caldwell University last weekend at Spartan Field.
After missing a game due to injury, Christensen (Old Bridge, N.J.) returned to action against Caldwell, scoring seven goals, including the OT game-winner in STAC's win over the Cougars. The freshman attack also picked up a ground ball in the contest.
STAC (3-2) returns to action on Wednesday, March 15 (4:00 p.m.), as the Spartan take on crosstown rivals Dominican University at the Torne Valley Sports Complex in Hillburn, N.Y.
