The St. Thomas Aquinas men's lacrosse team is set to begin their first season of competition with a road game at NYIT tomorrow afternoon. The Spartans will compete on an independent schedule this year under the guidance of head coach, John Carrozza.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the men's lacrosse program at St. Thomas
Aquinas College. For me, this is the culmination of playing, coaching and mentoring over
the last 18 years. The chance to apply my lacrosse knowledge at the collegiate level has
always been a goal of mine. We have a great group of young men to work with in our
inaugural season and I am certain that we will work hard, compete and create a culture to
call our own."
STAC has 12 games on the schedule for the 2016 season and they will participate as a member of the East Coast Conference beginning the Spring of 2017. Tomorrow's game is slated for 3:00 p.m. Check our schedule link for live stats of tomorrows game.
