Monsey, N.Y. - Anthony Prunty scored four times, as the St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team closed out its 2024 Fall Semester home schedule with a 9-5 triumph over New Jersey Institute of Technology on Friday evening at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
STAC improves to 3-2 overall with the win, while remaining perfect within the MCHC at 2-0.
The aforementioned Anthony Prunty tallied four goals on the evening for the Spartans, while John Brennan scored twice for the maroon and gold. Teammates James Guild, Jesse Formica and Daniel McKeon also added to the totals on the scoreboard with a goal apiece.
Theo Morris (W, 2-1) got the start in goal for STAC and stopped 28 of 33 shots faced to pick up the victory.
