Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team saw its three-game win streak halted on Sunday afternoon, as No. 3 NABC Nationally ranked Daemen University powered their way to a 79-60 victory at Aquinas Hall Gymnasium.
STAC slips to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in ECC action, while Daemen remains perfect on the year at 12-0 and 4-0.
Derrick James posted a team-high 11 points for the Spartans, while Jordan Green (10 points) also scored in double figures. For the visiting Wildcats, Zach Philipkoski led all scorers with 18 points.
St. Thomas Aquinas shot 35.7 percent (20-56) from the field, while Daemen shot 48.3 percent (29-60) from the floor.
STAC NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS:
