Spartan Basketball Head Coach Anderson Speaks At Wootten Basketball Clinic

Tobin Anderson, the third year coach of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team, traveled to Washington D.C. this weekend to speak at the highly regarded Wootten Basketball Camp.

The camp, started and run by legendary DeMatha High School Coach Morgan Wootten and his son, Bishop O'Connell High School Head Coach, Joe Wootten, teaches and motivates coaches and athletes alike about the skills, drills and techniques that will make them successful in both basketball and life through camps, clinics, tournaments and individual instruction.

Coach Anderson gave a presentation to his fellow coaching colleagues on the STAC Pressure Defense and Winning the Turnover Battle. Both areas have made the Men's Basektball Team at St. Thomas Aquinas College an extremely difficult opponent and has lead to consecutive appearances in the East Coast Conference Tournament Championship game (2014 & 2015) and an ECC Regular Season Title in 2015.

Tobin was selected to speak along with some of college and high school basketball's biggest and brightest names, including: Mike Brey - Notre Dame Men's Basketball Head Coach, Seth Greenberg - ESPN College Basketball Analyst, Ed Conroy - Tulane University Men's Basketball Head Coach, Dave Paulsen - George Mason University Men's Basketball Head Coach, Chris Harney - St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Basketball Head Coach and Bob Hurley, Sr. - St. Anthony High School Boys Basketball Head Coach & 2014 STAC Men's Basketball Tip-off Dinner Honoree.
