The St. Thomas Aquinas mens golf team captured the first annual Rockland Collegiate Cup over Dominican College and Nyack College hosted at Blue Hill golf course. The Spartans fired a team score of 296 led by senior Sean Campbell who shot an even par 72 and junior Chris Fitzpatrick who also shot a 72.

Sophomore Mike Gunderson carded a solid round of one over-par 73 while sophomore John Casey shot a 79.  Playing as an individual, Robert Rivera played his best round of the year firing a spectacular round of 66 (6-under par).

The Spartans are back in action tomorrow at the Peter King Memorial hosted by Dowling College in Riverhead,NY.
