Worcester, Mass. - Continuing their season-opening road trip, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Field Hockey team suffered a 10-0 Northeast-10 Conference defeat at the hands of Assumption University on Saturday afternoon at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.
STAC drops to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in NE10 action, while Assumption moves to 2-4 and 1-0.
Daisy Stone tallied a pair of goals for Assumption, while teammates Anne-Sophie Olijve, Hailey Doherty, Julia Carbone, Marta Brzoska, Taylor Tory, Julia Legere, Elle Murray and Madylan Alves also added to the Greyhounds totals on the scoreboard with a goal apiece.
In the cage, Paige Gillette (W, 2-4) got the start in goal for the Greyhounds and faced no shots over 60 minutes of action. Meanwhile, Ailsa Ogilvie (L, 1-2) got start in the cage for the Spartans and made 21 stops on 31 shots.
