St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Field Hockey athlete Lauren Cooper has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Field Hockey Player of the Week, following the Spartans 2-1 week, which included victories over Franklin Pierce University and Southern Connecticut State University.
Lauren Cooper (Sr./Wakefield, England) tallied five goals and an assist over three matches last week. Cooper's best offensive performance came in a 7-1 victory over Southern Connecticut State, where she scored four goals on 13 shots and picked up an assist in the match.
STAC (8-10, 7-7) faces off with Assumption University in the Northeast-10 Field Hockey Tournament Quarterfinals on Monday, November 1. The #1 seed Greyhounds host the #8 seed Spartans at Brian Kelly Stadium in Worcester, Mass., with the scheduled start time set for 7pm.
