On Tuesday, the Northeast-10 Conference released its 2021 Field Hockey All-Conference Awards. St. Thomas Aquinas College midfielder Lauren Cooper was recognized with Second Team honors by the league.

Lauren Cooper, a senior from Wakefield, England, registered a team-leading 11 goals and 23 points in 19 contests during the 2021 season. Her 53 shots taken, 33 of which were on goal, were also tops on the squad this season.

Cooper wraps up her outstanding career in Sparkill having played in 56 total contests, while tallying 15 goals and 1 assist for 31 points. She registered 95 shots, with 54 of those making their way to the cage.

Lauren will graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas College this spring with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, and will pursue a career in Strength & Conditioning and Personal Training here in the United States.

St. Thomas Aquinas College ended their outstanding 2021 campaign, falling to Assumption University, 2-1 in the NE10 Tournament Quarterfinals. In 2021, STAC went 8-11 overall and 7-7 within the conference.
