On Monday, the Collegiate Sprint Football League named its awards recipients for Week 5 of the Regular Season. STAC's Trevon Washington was selected as the Special Teams Player of the Week, following the team's 34-18 home setback to Mansfield University on Friday evening.
Washington (Conway, S.C.) returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown versus the Mountaineers. It was one of his two touchdowns in the game as he also caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from teammate Tynez Harp.
St. Thomas Aquinas (1-4, 1-1 CSFL North) visits the United States Military Academy at West Point on Friday, October 13. Kickoff between the Spartans and Black Knights is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Shea Stadium in West Point, New York.
