On Wednesday, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Rawlings have announced the recipients of the 2026 NCAA Division II All-Region Teams. Shortstop Nick Oelcher of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Baseball team has been selected as a Second Team honoree in the East Region.
Oelcher was the team's best hitter, posting a .376 batting average with 59 hits in 157 trips to the plate. The redshirt junior from Holbrook, New York also led the Spartans in doubles (15), while ranking in the top five in triples (2), home runs (4), RBI (38), runs scored (39), slugging (.573) and stolen bases (11).
Nick also earned ECC All-Conference Second Team accolades back in early May.
