On Friday, the East Coast Conference announced the recipient of their annual Elite 19 Award for Baseball during the conference's tournament final round matchup between St. Thomas Aquinas College and Molloy College at Mitchel Field in Uniondale, NY.

The ECC Elite 19 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 19 championships.

STAC Baseball student-athlete Andrew Jemison was named the recipient of the award, posting a 3.94 GPA, while majoring in Exercise Science.

On the field this season, the sophomore from Monroe, NY, has posted a .361 batting average, with 10 doubles, two triples, a home run, 27 RBI and 34 runs scored in 27 contests, to date, in 2021.
