Sparkill, N.Y. - On Wednesday, the NCAA released its latest Men's and Women's Division II Regional polls, with both St. Thomas Aquinas College Tennis teams remaining ranked among the top seven programs in the East.

On the women's side, the Lady Spartans remain in the #2 position in this week's rankings and hold a 17-3 overall record, with regular season victories over #7 New Haven, D'Youville, Daemen, Queens, West Chester, Molloy, Dominican, #5 District of Columbia, Carthage, Slippery Rock, Adelphi, #3 Jefferson, SUNY New Paltz, Goldey-Beacom and Chestnut Hill. St. Thomas Aquinas College captured its first-ever ECC Tournament crown with victories over Daemen and Queens last fall. The team's only blemishes come via Dallas Baptist, St. Mary's (Tex.) and #1 Wilmington (Del.).

Meanwhile for the men, the Spartans slide up one spot to #3 in this week's poll with an overall record of 17-1. STAC holds regular season victories over West Chester, St. Michael's, Division I Fairleigh Dickinson, #6 Adelphi, Manhattanville, Dallas Baptist, Carthage, St. Mary's (Tex.), Washington (Mo.), Yeshiva, #1 Queens, District of Columbia (x2), Daemen (x2), #7 Chestnut Hill and Dominican. The team's only setback comes via Queens at home, as the maroon and gold prepare for the upcoming ECC Tournament this Friday. STAC seeks its second straight conference tournament title, but will have to dispatch the host QC Knights in order to accomplish that goal.
