Title: Team Sports Medicine Physician

Dr. Bottiglieri is in his 3rd year of supporting STAC athletics. He works from his local Englewood, NJ and Nanuet, NY offices – Professional Sports Medicine Associates, PA. Bottiglieri is currently an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Association of Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine. He specializes in Athletic Trauma and Sports Medicine. Dr. Bottiglieri is our first line of defense when it comes to athletic injuries requiring further evaluation.

Personally, athletics has always been a passion for Dr. Bottiglieri.  He played football in high school and college.  He continues to be active in athletics, training in mixed martial arts.  His interest in sports medicine grew through his personal experiences with injury and rehabilitation.  Professionally, his medical experience ranges from professional athletics to youth and varsity sports.  Dr. Bottiglieri has been part of a medical team helping to prepare NFL prospects for the combine and NFL draft.  He was a staff physician at both Division-I and Division-II NCAA athletics programs; Rutgers University; and Georgian Court University.  He worked daily with the nationally ranked Scarlet Knights football team and covered the NCAA basketball tournament.  He has provided medical coverage for the American Volleyball Professionals on their East Coast Tour.  The Olympic Development Program also welcomed him in caring for the youth soccer program in Trenton, NJ. 

Dr. Bottiglieri resides in Staten Island with his wife and four children.
