Seth Newman, Gabriel Vieira, Liliana Kramer and Hailey Galison were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for February.
Gabriel Vieira, Men's Volleyball:
Gabriel Vieira finished with 114 kills and a .298 hitting percentage over seven matches (24 sets) during the month of February. The sophomore outside/opposite hitter from Belo Horizonte, Brazil also added four assists, five service aces, 38 digs, and 18 total blocks (2 solo, 16 assisted) for a stuffed monthly stat line.
In recognition of his tremendous work on the court, Vieira was selected by the East Coast Conference as the Men's Volleyball Player of the Week on both February 17th and 24th.
