Kyle Pulliam, Emmanuel Mena-Jimenez, Erin Leary and Shaniah Alago were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for December.
Shaniah Alago, Women's Bowling:
Shaniah Alago helped lead St. Thomas Aquinas to a third-place finish at the 2023 Northeast Classic. The senior bowler from Bronx, N.Y. knocked down 1,002 pins in day one of the tournament, which placed her sixth among a field of 31 competitors. She was also the top pin fall getter within the Spartans with 194 in the fifth baker game.
In recognition of her outstanding play at the Northeast Classic, Alago earned ECC Women's Bowler of the Week honors on December 8.
