Erin Leary, Karolina Jaruseviciute, Jamal Barnes and DeVante Jamison were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for December.
DeVante Jamison, Men's Basketball:
DeVante Jamison averaged 12.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game in seven contests during the month of December. The junior guard from Dorchester, Mass. also had 16 steals, while shooting 35.5% (27-of-76) from the field, 53.3% (8-of-15) from three and 81.8% (27-of-33) from the foul line.
In recognition of his excellent play on the hardwood, Jamison was named the ECC Defensive Player of the Week on December 12.
