Demetre Roberts, DeAndre Smith, Chanel Brodeur-Muir and Ashley Sena were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for December.
DeAndre Smith, Men's Track & Field:
DeAndre Smith opened the 2021-2022 season by finishing third in the High Jump (2.03m/6'8") and fifth in the Long Jump (6.75m/22'1.75") at the College of New Jersey Winter Opener. The senior from Brentwood, N.Y. then placed third in the High Jump (1.95m/6'4.75") at the Wagner College Seahawk Shootout.
