Angelo Baez, Andrew Jemison, Amanda Castro and Tara Hagan were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for May.
Andrew Jemison, Baseball:
Andrew Jemison helped lead the Spartans to a 9-4 record during the month of May, as he posted a .268 batting average, going 15-for-56 at the plate, with five doubles, nine RBI and 10 runs scored in 13 games.
The sophomore third baseman from Monroe, N.Y. was also a mainstay defensively for the Spartans, as Jemison posted a .949 fielding percentage.
As a result of his outstanding season on the diamond, Andrew Jemison was named a 2021 ECC Baseball All-Conference First Team selection on May 13.
