Angelo Baez, Andrew Jemison, Amanda Castro and Tara Hagan were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for May.
Tara Hagan, Softball:
Tara Hagan helped lead the Spartans to the ECC Softball Tournament Final during the month of May, as she posted a .350 batting average, going 7-for-20 at the plate, with five RBI and two runs scored in seven games.
The freshman outfielder from New City, N.Y. was also a mainstay defensively for the Spartans, as Hagan posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
