Alexa Huertas, Julia Reggio, Grant Singleton and Antonio Vendola were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for February.
Alexa Huertas, Women's Basketball:
Huertas averaged 13.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in ten contests during the month of February. The junior guard from Haverstraw, NY also had 12 steals, while shooting 36.6% (49-of-134) from the field, 38.1% (24-of-63) from three and 65.4% (17-for-26) from the foul line.
Lexi was recognized on for her exceptional play on the court by the East Coast Conference, as she was named the Player of the Week on February 15th.
