Jennifer Farrell, Amanda Castro, Anthony Maisano and Tyler Senatore were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for March.
Anthony Maisano, Baseball:
Maisano posted a .342 batting average, going 13-for-38 at the plate, with 6 RBIs and 12 runs scored during the month of March. Anthony played in all 10 of the Spartans' games in their shortened season, also contributing five doubles, while opposing pitchers walked him three times. He was also 5-for-5 in base stealing for St. Thomas Aquinas.
The senior center fielder from Staten Island, N.Y. was also a mainstay defensively for the Spartans, as Maisano posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
