Ashley Landolina and Frankie Moscatiello & Justin Reyes were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for March.
Ashley Landolina, Softball:
Landolina posted a .358 batting average, going 19-for-53 at the plate, with 8 RBIs and 10 runs scored during the month of March. Ashley played in all 16 of the Spartan's games, also contributing one double, one triple and a homer, while opposing pitchers walked her twice.
The freshman infielder from Tolland, Conn. has also been a mainstay defensively for the Spartans, as Landolina posted a .900 fielding percentage, while making only 7 errors in her time at shortstop.
