Kaitlyn McCue and Aaron Cust were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for February.
Aaron Cust, Men's Basketball:
Cust averaged 19.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in seven contests during the month of February. The senior guard from Uniondale, NY also had 15 steals and shot 58.2% (53-91) from the field, 37% (10-27) from the three-point line and 90% (18-20) from the foul line.
Aaron scored his career milestone 1,000th point as a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team on February 22nd versus Mercy College and was subsquently named the East Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week on February 27th.
