Jenna Erickson and Rickssen Opont were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for December.
Jenna Erickson, Women's Basketball:
Erickson averaged 17.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in seven contests during the month of December. The junior guard from Melrose, NY also had 11 steals and shot 39.7% (39-98) from the field, 38.8% (26-67) from the three-point line and 79.1% (19-24) from the foul line.
Jenna also scored her career milestone 1000th point as a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Basketball team on December 30th versus Pace University.
