Luis Morales and Kristen Borriello were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for October.
Luis Morales, Men's Soccer:
Luis recorded 5 goals during the final month of the regular season. His ability to find his way to the net has certainly paid off, and was especially the case when he scored 2 game winning goals in games versus Felician College (10/24) and LIU Post (10/31).
Morales, a freshman from Port Chester, NY, registered 20 shots, with 12 of those going on goal over the 8 games he participated in during this time period.
As a result of his stellar play, Luis was named the ECC Men's Rookie of the Week on 11/2.
