St. Thomas Aquinas College Softball Head Coach Kristen Sullivan today announced the hiring of three new assistant coaches – Natalie Traina, Bella Corrao and Bill Madden.
“Natalie, Bella and Bill will each bring different skills sets and strengths that will greatly benefit our program and players,” said Sullivan. “I am very excited about these appointments and I can’t wait to begin working with them.”
Natalie Traina: She has played and coached on all levels of softball including high school, college, competitive travel and international competition. Natalie is the co-founder of East Coast Drive, a highly competitive travel program based in Blauvelt, N.Y. since 2012. She also served as an assistant coach at the University of Bridgeport from 2014-16 and worked in coaching positions at Tappan Zee and North Rockland high schools. She played collegiately at Molloy College, Southampton College and Nyack College and played for the United States in Italy on the American International Softball Tour.
Bella Corrao: Bella comes to STAC after working as an assistant coach at the New York Institute of Technology for the past two seasons. She was a highly accomplished softball player in high school and college. She was named the Nassau County Player of the Year in 2011 after starring as a pitcher for Farmingdale High School. She played collegiately at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and LIU Post.
Bill Madden: He brings a wide range of coaching experience to the Spartans. He will assist with fundraising and promotional activities, as well as many administrative duties.
