St. Thomas Aquinas Ranked #23 In This Week's NABC Men's Basketball National Poll

The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team has been ranked #23 overall in all of Division II Men's Basketball according to the latest national poll released on Tuesday afternoon by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The 6-1 Spartans are currently being led by Sekou Cisse (Junior/Forward/Harlem, NY) - averaging 12.6 points per game & 7.9 rebounds per game and Demetre Roberts (Freshman/Guard/Mount Vernon, NY) - averaging 12.9 points per game, while Osbel Caraballo (Freshman/Forward/Bolivar, Venezuela) averaging 11.4 points and 7.6 rebounds and Jamar Sudan (Sophomore/Forward/Chester, PA) averaging 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds also play major factors in the STAC scoring this season.

The team's offense currently averages 76.4 points scored per game, while their defense surrenders an average of only 71.9 points per game.

St. Thomas Aquinas College makes the short trip over the Mario Cuomo Bridge on Wednesday for a 7pm match-up with Mercy College, before returning to the friendly confines of Aquinas Hall for a 3pm showdown with the University of Bridgeport on Saturday, December 8th.
