Women's Cross Country Ranked 7th in Region

The St. Thomas Aquinas Women's cross country teamed has been ranked 7th in the East region in the USTFCCCA Preseason Poll. This ranking follows a successful 2016 campaign in which the team finished 3rd in the East Coast Conference and 10th in the East Regional Championship.  The team returns senior standout Kristen Borriello who missed the 2016 season due to injury.  Borriello is a two-time All-Region, All-Conference and All-Academic selection.  She holds the Spartans 5K school record.  Sophomore Aida Torpey, a 2016 All-Conference and All-Regin selection should continue to build on the success of her rookie season.  The team possesses a great deal of talent throughout the roster and the depth should contribute to the success of the 2017 season.
