    SPARKILL, NY – With the fall weather finally setting in, the St. Thomas Aquinas College women’s tennis team also found their stride, winning yet another closely contested match over Roberts Wesleyan, 5-4.  The match went down to the wire, with the clinching point coming at the conclusion of the final match of the day at sixth singles.

    SPARKILL, NY – On an unusually warm October day, the St. Thomas Aquinas College women’s tennis team played yet another tough, regional match against Concordia College.  The non-conference slate looked to be the makings of a rout for the Clippers, as they swept all three doubles matches, but the stubborn Lady Spartans proved yet again to be one of the toughest outs in the East region, eventually falling 7-2.

    PHILADELPHIA, PA – The St. Thomas Aquinas College women’s tennis team defeated regional opponent University of the Sciences on Thursday with a score of 5-4.  The win marked a reversal of fortunes for the Lady Spartans, who had previously lost five matches by that 5-4 mark.

    CALDWELL, NJ – The St. Thomas Aquinas College women’s tennis team traveled to take on Caldwell University on Monday and left with a 7-2 victory to open the season.  After finding themselves in a 2-1 hole after the doubles portion, the Lady Spartans swept all six singles matches to secure the win.

    SPARKILL, NY – A marathon of a tennis match took place as the St. Thomas Aquinas College Lady Spartans took on the Rider Broncos on Saturday. The final match of the fall season took all of five hours to complete, and the Lady Spartans nearly defeated their NCAA Division I opponents before ultimately falling 4-3.

Signore won her top flight singles match, 6-2, 6-4 while O'Brien won the fourth flight, 6-3, 6-2. Raven DeLeon and Shannon Biehle paired up for an 8-3 doubles win.
