The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team dropped their first match to Dowling College on Thursday afternoon.  The Lady Spartans freshman Jayden Brignola won her second set 6-1 before dropping the match to Dowlings Alexis Speyer.  STAC's two victories came off forfeits by Dowling.  "I am proud of how hard the team played and they never gave up," commented first year head coach, Ronnie Horn.

The Lady Spartans will play Queens tomorrow at 3:30 PM at home.
