Dowling Stops Women's Tennis, 7 - 2
The STAC Lady Spartan women's teannis team dropped a 7 - 2 decision to Dowling College of Long Island in an ECC match on Thursday, 9/28.
The loss brings the netters record to 2 - 7 overall and 1 - 6 in the conference.
Amanda Martinez at the # 6 singles was the only winner on the court for STAC. She defeated Jessica Marino of Dowling 4 - 6, 6 - 1 & 7 - 3 (tiebreaker). Allison Reeg, at # 2 singles, was also a winner but by default over Dowling's Diane Kobasiuk.
Coach Vincent Ceci's team returns to action on Monday,
10/3 when they travel to Caldwell, NJ to take on the Cougars of
Caldwell College at 4:00pm
