The St. Thomas Aquinas Track team has earned 30 All-Conference Awards for their performances at the East Coast Conference Championships. These awards are tacked on to great team finishes with the Men winning the championship and the women taking 2nd place.
The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams are ranked #1 in the first Regional Poll of the outdoor season Strong performances at the Hurricane Invitational and Shark Invitational in South Florida led them to the top.
Once again, two members of the Spartan Track team have taken a national stage and represented St. Thomas Aquinas Track in the best of ways. Winslow Dorsainvil finished in 15th place overall in the 60m while St. Jacob Diodonet took 12th place overall in the 400m.
The NCAA Division II Festival started on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 with the opening Ceremonies at the Birmingham, Alabama Theatre with some of the best athletes in Track, Wrestling, and Swimming & Diving. St. Thomas Aquinas College will be represented by Winslow Dorsainvil and St. Jacob Diodonet.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Track & Field program competed for the ECC Championship at the Ocean Breeze Facility in Staten Island. The Men's team finished in 2nd place, scoring 145 points while the women finished 3rd, scoring 94 points. For both squads, this was the most points they ever scored at the ECC Championships.
As the Spartan Track & Field team gears up for the East Coast Conference Championships on February 24th, they competed at the St. Joseph's College Invitational where both the men and women finished in 3rd place out of 20 schools.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Track & Field team competed at the BU Terrier Invite where they logged a number of outstanding performances. Freshman Camille Cameron broke the school record in the 200 where she ran 25.29 and finished 25th out of 158 runners.
For the first time in program history, the men's track & field team has been ranked in USTFCCCA DII National Top 25. Winslow Dorsainvil and St. Jacob Diodonet both led the charge to secure the ranking with their personal standings in their respective events.
The St. Thomas Aquinas College track & field team hosted the Spartan Regional Invite for the second year in on row, on Friday afternoon. In a field of Division I, II, and III teams competing; the men's team finished 4th overall (2nd overall DII,DIII) out of 18 teams and the women's team finished in 7th overall (5th overall DII,DIII).
