Women's Track & Field Finishes 2nd at ECC Championship

The St. Thomas Aquinas College women's track & field team capped off a great season with a 2nd place finish at the East Coast Conference Championship.  

Freshman, Victoria Jones-Alleyne took 1st place finishes in the Long Jump 5.65 (18'6.5), Triple Jump 11.32m(37'1.5), and in the 100 hurdles (14.38) setting all new Spartan outdoor records. Jones-Alleyne also finished in 5th place in the 200 with a time of 26.60.  Camille Cameron won the 400 meters with a time of 58.24.  Molly Conner had a great day for the Spartans where she took 3rd place in the 400 Hurdles and in the Triple Jump with new personal bests in both events.  Kristen Borriello took a 1st place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:19.27 and 2nd place finish in the 1500 in a time of 4:37.87. 
 
Desiree Bermudez took a 1st place finish in the Javelin with a toss of 27.68m (90'10).  Katie Mollahan took a 3rd place finish in the shot put with a throw of 11.96m (39'3).  Rebecca MacLeod took 2nd place in the Steeplechase with a time of 12:04.67.  
 
The Spartans and Lady Spartans next compete at Penn Relays in Philadelphia from Thursday until Saturday.
