GIBSON REPRESENTS STAC AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Freshman Jeanette Gibson made STAC women’s track history by becoming the first Spartan ever to participate in the outdoor Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) track & field championships, May 13 at Princeton University’s William Weaver Stadium in Princeton, N.J.
Gibson (North Rockland H.S./Pearl River, N.Y.)
finished 23rd in the shot put with a best effort of 37
feet, ½ inch. She is the St. Thomas school record holder in
the shot put, discus and javelin.
