The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost at Dowling, 7-1 and 8-0.  Freshman Samantha Welsh scored STAC's run in the top of the first.  Angela Squillini and Alyssa Cataldo each had a hit for STAC.

Dowling's Jessie Stavola pitched a no hitter for the Golden Lions in game two.  Stavola struck out 13 batters hitting two by pitch in 5 innings.  Freshman Maura Power picked up the loss for STAC in game one striking out five.  Welsh struck out three in game two.

STAC will return to action on Wednesday as they host Felician at 3:30 pm.
