STAC Softball Drops Doubleheader To Nationally Ranked C. W. Post
The STAC Lady Spartan softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader to 17th ranked C. W. Post by the scores of 6 - 2 and 3 - 0 in ECC action on Long Island.
In the 1st game: the women took a 2 - 0 lead into the 4th inning but allowed 6 unanswered Pioneer runs over the next 2 innings. STAC pitcher Shannon Donohue received little help in the field as her teammates committed 7 errors in the game.
In the 2nd game: the Lady Spartans could only muster 4 hits to support losing hurler, Jess Gogatz.
STAC's record falls to 5 & 9 overall and 0 & 2 in the
ECC. They return to action on Tuesday when they host ECC rival the
University of Bridgeport at 3:30pm at Spartan Field
