The St. Thomas Aquinas men's tennis team beat West Chester University, 9-0 on Sunday afternoon. Aaron Stahl and Luke Taplin won 8-1 in the top flight doubles matches. Both won their singles matches with Stahl taking a 7-5, 4-1 victory before his opponent retired the match due to injury and Taplin won 8-1.
Andreu Ferragut and Enej Hasicevic rallied from down 6-1 in the tiebreaker match to win. Javier Munoz was down 4-1 in his second set and pulled off the victory winning, 6-3, 6-4. Munoz paired up with Matthew Corsie for an 8-3 win.
The Spartans will return to action on Thursday when they travel to LeMoyne for a 2:00 match. STAC will play at Roberts Wesleyan and at Daemen College on Friday and Saturday.
